Yebin Kim, 32, Died in San Francisco E-Scooter Accident Involving Delivery Truck by Powell Street and Market Street
SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA (August 13, 2026) – A 32-year-old woman identified as Yebin Kim has tragically died in a San Francisco delivery truck accident near the intersection of Powell Street and Market Street.
San Francisco officials are saying that the accident occurred around 8:18 AM on Friday. Yebin Kim was riding an e-scooter when she was reportedly hit by some type of delivery truck.
Paramedics were called to the scene of the collision to help the victim. They began rendering first aid when they arrived.
Unfortunately, Yebin Kim was beyond medical assistance and pronounced deceased at the scene of the crash.
The San Francisco Police Department is currently investigating the circumstances leading up to the crash. They are asking the public to reach out to them if they have more information.
